Baseball-Themed Gender Reveals Do Not Go Well

Gender reveals are supposed to be memorable and fun ways for parents-to-be to learn if they're having a boy or a girl, but while it was definitely memorable for a pair of couples who tried it, it didn't look very fun.

First up to the plate is Kyle Tait, who tweeted out his fail with the caption, "Walks don't count at gender reveal parties." Tait didn't like his wife's pitch so instead of swinging, he let the ball hit the ground, where it exploded in a pink cloud to show they'll be having a daughter.

At least everyone walked away smiling and unhurt, which can't be said of this couple:

The only color they saw was blood red as the dad-to-be connected with the ball and hit a line drive right into his pregnant partner's face. The ball didn't even explode to show what they were having.

Someone needs to start selling helmets for gender reveal parties!
