In light of recent critical statements about Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, former Packers receiver Jordy Nelson said it's the same guys who keep going back to that well, and it doesn't make sense.
Former Packers JerMichael Finley and Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila were among recent quoted former teammates who were critical of Rodgers' attitude, particularly towards coaching. Former Packers receiver Greg Jennings has spoken several times about Rodgers in the same vein on various Fox Sports programs.
After two seasons out of the playoffs, the Packers fired Mike McCarthy after 12 games in 2018, and hired Matt LaFleur to be the new permanent head coach.
ESPN's Stephen A. Smith says that Rodgers' former teammates have no place to criticize the quarterback:
