GAME 3 LAST NIGHT...

For the first half of basketball last night, it looked like the Celtics were going pick up where they left off in Game 3 of the eastern Conference Finals as the Isaiah Thomas-less Celtics led the Cleveland Cavaliers by ten 57-47.

And then, Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving took over scoring 19 points over a five minute stretch in the period before he finished with 42.

As for that other guy – LeBron James – he struggled in the first half, but then came back to life. He finished with 34 of his own as the Cavs moved within one win of an almost inevitable third date in the Finals with Golden State by rallying to beat Boston 112-99.
