Gottlieb wonders why the same guy who had one of the most melodramatic resignations in recent history is suddenly going to be back on the bandwagon as the franchise tries to recruit one of the most important free agents of all time.

So Magic, you dumped on the franchise and the organization for a week, saying it wasn’t fun for you anymore, and now you’re going to be involved in arguably the most important meeting in Lakers history a month later?
