UFC middleweight Sedriques Dumas was arrested for the second time in 14 months in Florida on Monday (April 28), ESPN's Brett Okamoto reports.
Dumas, 29, was charged with home invasion robbery, battery, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon and drug possession, according to online booking records. The fighter's arrest came less than three weeks after his first-round knockout loss to Michal Oleksijczuk during the early preliminary card of UFC 314 in Miami, as well as 14 months after he was previously arrested in Escambia County after getting into a verbal argument with police after being confronted over an alleged public disturbance on charges that were eventually dismissed, though he spent weeks of a fight camp behind bars, MMA Junkie reports.
Dumas has reportedly been arrested 14 times in Escambia County and was jailed prior to appearing before Judge Kristina Denise Lightel for his initial appearance in relation to his latest charges on Tuesday (April 29), with his bond set at $558,500 and an arraignment scheduled for May 23, according to online records. The American fighter has a 10-3 professional record, which includes a 3-3 record in UFC sanctioned fights and his last win coming in a unanimous decision against Denis Tiuliulin on August 3, 2024.
