For a guy named Christian, you would think he would show up more often on Sunday’s.
But Sunday’s have certainly been a problem for Panthers Christian McCaffrey this season as the All Pro running back has only been on the field for Carolina three Sunday’s this season while battling several injuries.
And now it appears Saturdays won’t work for him either as it appears McCaffrey will be a spectator for the 11th time across the past 12 contests.
This after head coach Matt Rhule says he does not expect to have the 24-year-old McCaffrey available this weekend when his team faces the Packers on Saturday after he was limited in a walkthrough because of what was listed as a thigh injury.
Let’s face it, with Carolina is facing inevitable elimination from playoff contention the team will soon be out of reasons to put McCaffrey back in the rotation until 2021.
And as much as any fan loves watching that kid play—at this point I think we can all agree we’d love to see him healthy and rested for 2021.
Don't forget, Packer's Preview starts at 5pm on Saturday, December 19th, followed by the exciting play-by-play and Packers OT on Fox Sports Radio 1230
